Les Dames D’Escoffier, at La Fromagerie

If you love the ‘pong’ of cheese, you will be delighted by La Fromagerie. Known as one of the best cheese shops in the UK, its part of the cosy cluster of interestingly independent shops around Marylebone…

I was there yesterday as part of an event run by Les Dames D’escoffier; a charity that I am involved in. Wine & cheese was served whilst current and potential members of the charity mingled for the evening.

I think I had too many of these delightfully light cheese pastries…

The society serves both to support the culinary education of women, as well as being a fabulously social group of ladies that are all established in their field of food.

The London chapter of Les Dames D’escoffier is led by two very talented chefs and good friends of mine Valentina Harris and Jacqui Pickles.
